The Three Top Rated Video Baby Monitors 2019
Choosing a video baby monitor (see infantstuffreviews.com) can often be difficult and frustrating as there are so many to choose from these days. This is the reason that I've written this article. Obviously as a parent you want the best product for you and your family, but where do you start? First of all I think it's a good idea to see what other customers are buying as this shows what baby monitors are proving popular. It's also useful when buying a product from an online shopping site to see what customers are saying and what the product is being rated. Usually a rating guide is very helpful.
I've reviewed many video baby monitors, some that have a lot of customers reviews and some with very few. I really think there has to be an even playing field when putting together a list such as this, which is why I've included only those that have over 150 customer reviews and a rating of over 4.0 (There happen to be only three that fall into this category). This will, hopefully, give you a true comparison of what the top rated video baby monitors 2012 are in order to help you choose the right one for you. The ratings are based on ratings and are out of 5 (5 being the top rated).
Number One is the Motorola MBP33 with a rating of 4.3. Both the Motorola MBP33 and the MBP36 video baby monitor have consistently been the best selling and top rated video baby monitors for a while now. Basically the models are the same except the MBP33 has a 2.8″ color screen, the camera doesn't have the pan and tilt function and it's cheaper. What it does have is digital frequency hop technology, night vision, two-way talk back, lullabies, room temperature reading and a lot more really useful features.
Number Two is the Motorola MBP36 which, as mentioned above, has a larger 3.5" screen and a pan and tilt camera function and has a rating of 4.2. Both the models have a 650ft signal range so you easily move around your house without losing the signal. The monitor is portable as it comes with a kick stand so you can stand it up on any level surface. However, what it doesn't have is a belt clip to make it truly portable, although how useful this is I'm not sure. As with the Motorola MBP33, the Motorola MBP36 can support up to three additional cameras so you can expand your viewing options when you need to. The scan between cameras is 12 seconds.
Finally number three, with a rating of 4.2 is the Infant Optics Video baby Monitor. Even though the Infant Optics has the same customer rating as the MBP36, I've put it in third place simply because it has slightly less customer reviews. Personally, I think this is a good choice, given the price as it has some really good features. It may not have as many features as the Motorola monitors, but as a good quality basic model it's well worth the price. Let's look at some of the features - 2.4″ color screen, digital frequency hop technology, night vision, 800 feet signal range, voice activation and more. Customers have commented on it's long battery life and even complimented their customer service which is a rarity.
Interestingly these video baby monitors fall in the upper, middle and lower range of models which means that you can buy a model to suit your budget. Hopefully this top rated video baby monitors 2012 article will help you choose.
